Strange Unknown Celebrity Piercings

1.Pink

Pop star Pink has a pierced body part that years ago wasn't commonly thought of as an ideal place for an ring or a stud. But thanks to forward thinking rock and roll icons like Pink, you could someday be trying to talk your daughter or sons out of getting their nipples pierced.

2.Kelis

Singer Kelis proudly sports what appears to be a metallic mustache but is actually just a connection between her variously pierced body parts. It's easy to imagine anyone objecting to this look if they have traditional ideas of womanhood or if they're standing behind her at the airport metal detector.

3.Amanda Bynes

Amanda Bynes has decided to get her cheek pierced. This may seem like an odd choice to place a stud, but I suppose things could have gotten stranger when you consider that the famed actress had three other cheeks she could have gotten pierced as well.

4.Lady Gaga's hidden piercing

Lady Gaga's legendary piercings are known only to those who, shall we say, are on an intimate and familiar basis with the pop singer. Yes, you got it, it's between her legs. This view is probably as close as we'll get to confirming her pierced status without having to buy her dinner first.

5.Scarlett Johansson

Scarlett Johansson has her nose pierced in a way that very likely symbolizes a rejection of conventional social mores. and a comfort with her sense of individuality. My guess is that she is probably a great deal less comfortable blowing her nose in public.

6.Rihanna

Pop culture sensation Rihanna shows off her pierced tragus. For those of you under the age of thirty, Rihanna is a pop singer very popular with your kids. And for those of you who don't have medical degrees, the word tragus was originally Greek for "ouch."

7.Stefanie Heinzmann

Swiss pop singer Stefanie Heinzmann is an up-and-coming star, which is another way of saying you've probably never heard of her. But if her pierced lips are any indication she's on a mission to change that. She apparently wants to be known for her lovely voice and her lethal kiss.

8.Dave Navarro

Rock star Dave Navarro is most famous for marrying actress/singer Carmen Electra and for getting strange parts of his body -- mostly his n!pples -- pierced. These days he's no longer married to Carmen Electra. But his relationship to his pierced nipples seems to be intact.

9.Dennis Rodman

From his tattoos to his strangely colored hair to his odd collection of piercings, Dennis Rodman has never been accused of being a boring -- or, for that matter, normal -- person. It's likely that his biggest fear is that someday he'll run out of body parts to pierce.

10.Christina Aguilera

Former Mickey Mouse Club member Christina Aguilera has drifted to the dark side in recent years, becoming something like the bad girl of pop music. And what better way to document that drift than to get pierced in a place that could give your grandmother a stroke.

11.Fergie

Pop singer Fergie was something of a trendsetter with her pierced eyebrow. The oddly placed pierce makes her look cool and dignified at the same time. But it also makes her look like someone who can't blink without being in an awful lot of pain.

12.Brittany Spears

Brittany Spears proudly shows off her pieced belly button here. Thanks to celebrities like Spears, the pierced navel has slowly become more common. Thankfully it is most common among people who have the kinds of bellies you actually want to see. Let's see if she keeps it in her 60s.

13.Amber Rose

There was a time when lip piercings were for odd people who hung around dark alleys and asked for spare change. These days, lip piercings are for supermodels like Amber Rose, who probably don't hang around dark alleys and ask for anything because she's rich.

14.Lil Wayne

Lil Wayne can always be counted on to lead the pack with his unusual look. Between inking his body up with strange tattoos and piercing himself in places that look simply painful, one wonders when this hip hop recording star finds time to actually record hip hop music.

15.Zara Phillips

Tongue piercings are nowhere near as unusual as they had been in years past. But they are still quite rare for members of the royal family. Zara Phillips is 15th in the line of succession to the throne. And she has a pierced tongue. The age of Victoria is long gone!
