Cakes are the most popular celebratory dish. We see, eat or cut them at least a couple of times in a year. When was the last time you saw a cake on a ceremonial occasion? We guess the cake you had seen might just be an ordinary random cake that looks round or square in shape, with little or nothing special about it. While we agree with the fact that most cakes taste good, we don't think all of them look good!
Baking was one hell of a task in the olden days. Making cakes was a complicated procedure back then, as there was no efficient baking equipment available. Thanks to the modern baking equipments and methodologies, we are now able to make a delicious cake in just a few hours. In fact, we have advanced so far that we can bake cakes that look like anything we want; even a human face or a cartoon character!

This cake came out really good, thanks to chef's exceptional baking and food-decorating skills. SpongeBob's expression looks fine, but his hand has five fingers instead of four, which makes things look little unnatural for SpongeBob's fans! Nonetheless, we guess Justin might have had excellent time cutting the cake.

We don't think one can find a better children's birthday cake than this! Every kid on the planet is going to love this beautiful "Cars" cake. "Cars" is a great movie. Many Adults love the movie too. All the anthropomorphic car characters in the film look adorable.
If you are Cars movie fan, the Lightning McQueen's edible figurine will instantly impress you! It looks perfect. The chef did an excellent job in showing right expression on the McQueen's face. The cake looks very impressive. It looks little blotchy, or otherwise, we would have rated this cake as the best cake in this list.
5.The Powerpuff Girls Cake
All the Powerpuff Girls fans will love this cake instantly. Oh, what a sweet and beautiful looking cake! Blossoms, Bubbles, and Buttercup look cute and adorable. Their figurines look like they are all set to save the party guests! Cakes like these are impressive but at the end of the day, someone has to cut and eat them. Imagine getting a beautiful 3D cartoon cake like this on your birthday. Don't you think that looks too pretty to cut or eat? Most people would delay the cake-cutting process as long as they can!
6.Tasmanian Devil (Looney Toons) Cake
If you are a fan of 'The Looney Tunes Show', you will instantly recognize the Tasmanian Devil character from the show. The character is usually referred as Taz in the show. It is known for its short temper, impatience, and voracious appetite.
The cake in the picture was made to look like Taz. It indeed looks like Taz, and we have to appreciate chef's good work. The details on the cake are absolutely fabulous. While we don't have any problem in saying that this is one of the best cakes of the topic, we are little disappointed to see its whiskers missing entirely.

This topic would be incomplete without a Rugrats cake! Rugrats was one of the best cartoon TV series that were aired in the 90s. 90s kids absolutely loved the show, and many of them were deeply disappointed when Nick ended it in 2004.
The cake in the picture looks too beautiful. The detailing added by the chef is really incredible. Oh boy, the cake really looks like a plastic toy set. Look at the expressions on the faces of Angelica, Chuckie, Tommy! they look very realistic! The cake is too beautiful to cut, isn't it?

Are you a fan of TMNT? If your answer is yes, you will definitely like this Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles inspired cake. This is a giant cake, and we all hope to get something like this on our birthdays, Don't we?! Well, this cake is no baking marvel, but we got to appreciate the idea and its neat execution. As you can see in the picture, the multi-storied cake is supported by a specially made support stand. All the four faces look same, but those eye masks help us identify Leonardo, Raphael, Donatello and Michelangelo.

Aladdin is one of the most popular Disney movie franchises. We all grew up watching Aladdin movie and TV shows. They are famous all over the world. Aladdin is a handsome guy. Jasmine is one of the prettiest Disney princesses. They are a beautiful couple, and this cake just shows that!
The cake is breathtaking. Well, we got to say that the chef got some splendid baking skills! This is a great cake, but we think Jasmine's lips aren't attractive. Aladdin looks cute and innocent. We really liked the way he is looking at Jasmine! Genie looks good as well. There could have been some details on Genie's lamp, though.
11.Rio Cake
If you are a fan of animated movies, then you must have seen the movie "Rio." Remember all the characters? Well, I do, Blu was simply awesome, and so is this cake with Blu and Jewel on it. An impressive cake for a kid's birthday party.
12.The Flintstones Cake
This is yet another fantastic cartoon-inspired cake. Now this is what we call perfection! We have the entire Flintstones theme on display here, thanks to some highly-talented chef. We have figurines of Fred Flintstone, Wilma Flintstone, Barney Rubble, Bamm-Bamm Rubble, Pebbles Flintstone and the pet dinosaur Dino on the cake. They all look cute. Bamm-Bamm and Pebbles look too adorable! Betty Rubbles was missing, and we also find it little odd to see Wilma Flintstone and Barney Rubble locked inside the house while Fred was standing outside and waiting for someone!
13.Scrat The Squirrel (Ice Age) Cake
Remember Scrat, the squirrel from Ice Age? that poor little thing always kept running around those acorns and every time end up in very dangerous situations. Here is a cake to honor that brave little squirrel and make your party/event little more interesting.
Why we love this cake is because of its uniqueness. Scrat isn't as popular as some other Disney characters. Within the Ice Age Franchise, Many characters are way popular than this acorn-obsessed squirrel, Scrat. Sometimes, you got to think different! Scrat figurine looks very realistic, and we guess Dylan might have had problems cutting it!

Check how real Marlin and Nemo cartoon characters look! This cake is beautiful. It looks so pretty that no one really wants to cut it! The little decorations like the octopus, turtle, seaweed, and starfish are all beautiful. Oh boy, isn't the cake really astonishing?
15.The Little Mermaid (Ariel) Cake
This cake is very colorful and pretty too. Ariel looks too beautiful! Remember, it isn't a plastic toy, and you can totally eat it if you want to! It seems like the baker put his or her full focus only on Ariel and left 'Flounder' with very few details. It could have been better. Sebastian looks a little hungover, doesn't he?
