You know the world has gone to pits when universities start making college courses that focus on made-up languages. The Lord of the Rings is one of the most popular movie franchises to-date, but that still doesn't mean a college course should be devoted to it. At the University of Wisconsin, students can take a course called, 'Elvish: The Language of "Lord of the Rings."'
