1.Scalloped Eyeliner
Scalloped eyeliner is the hottest thing out right now. It can be used directly on the lash line or with eyeshadow on the lid. For the scalloped line on your lash line, use a stencil for the most even scallops. Place stencil over upper lid and fill in with color of your choice.
2.Glitter Eyeliner
Glitter eyeliner is a fun alternative for going from day to night. Used in much the same way as your regular eyeliner, you can line your lower and upper lashes over your regular black or brown, or any color, eyeliner. Following the same line, glide the glitter on both upper and lower lashes, or one or the other, for your own unique look.
3.Blue Eyeliner
Blue always whitens white. Using blue eyeliner on your eyes makes your eyes sparkle, but whitening your whites and making your eyes appear brighter and more radiant. The darker the blue, the white the white. Using your preferred method of lining your eyes, use the blue instead of black or brown, for this effect.
4.Eyeliner Decals
An easy and fun way to create exotic eyeline looks is to use a decal. Sold in most drug stores and beauty stores, you can find just the style you're looking for. As easy as pressing on a sticker, this eyeliner is precise and requires hardly no time to apply.
5.Triple Eyeliner
The triple eyeliner look is quite the rage, and can easily be done using three of your favorite shades of eyeliner, the bolder the better. Starting with a black liner on the upper lid, closest to the lashes, use your next color over the black, and then your last color over that one. Make sure to overlap just a bit to avoid spaces.
6.Applying Liquid Eyeliner
Liquid eyeliner can take practice, but when used correctly can create very precise line work. When using liquid eyeliner, always use a light hand, and keep it steady. Liquid eyeliner is just that, liquid, and does not go on like a pencil. Think of it more like painting than drawing.
7.Wingtipped Eyeliner
Wingtipped eyeliner gives width and depth to the eye. Creating a much more dramatic eye, with a more almond shape, it creates the illusion that the eye is bigger. Using your eyeliner, draw a small line from the outer corner of your eye toward the outer corner of your brow. From that tip, draw another line back toward the lash line, a few pencil points in from the corner of the eye. Fill in and then continue line to the inner corner of the eye.

8.Tightline
Tightlining is a great technique for when you want a not so made up look, or to add to the line created on the lash line itself. When tightlining, you draw the line on the upper lash on the wet rim. It defines your eyes without even looking like you are wearing eye liner.
9.Open Eyes With White Eyeliner
White eyeliner is one of the most essential pencils you can own, for brightening and opening the eye. Use on lower and upper lids and just under the brow, to bring focus to the eye, and open it up, using light reflective properties. When applied on the wet line, you can still apply black eyeliner just under the lower lashes for definition.

10.Stop Eye Liner From Running
We all start out looking great when we first put on our eyeliner, but come a few hours later and the lower line tends to run. A great way to avoid this is to apply concealer just below the lid. It locks the line in place all day, and into the night.
11.Cat Eyes
A great technique for cat eyes is to cheat using scotch tape. Cat eyes can be done with any color eye shadow. Using a small pieces of tape, angle it from the outer corner of your eye to the outer corner of your eyebrow. Press the tape down and then apply your shadow right over it. When you remove the tape, you will have the perfect cat eye.

12.Smokey Eyes
Made famous by Kim Kardashian, the smokey eye look is sexy and mysterious. To get the look all you really need is black eyeliner, black, nude and white eyeshadow, and a small make up brush. After lining your lower and upper eyelid, draw a flared line to the outer corner of your lid. Fill in with black eyeshadow and smudge, then smudge lower line. Add white under outer brow. Blend.
