We believe most of you remember growing up playing these amazing vintage video games of 90s as kids. The 90s was the beginning of serious gaming. There were games in the 1980s as well, but they weren't that great when it comes to graphics or game play. Video games started to evolve big in the late 90s, and graphics were getting better and better. Check fifteen of the best 90s video games. Let's count how many of them you actually played!
1.The Flintstones video game
Remember playing Flintstones? i really loved Fred running around to kill those creatures, what a great childhood it was. You can never get bored of these games.
2.Bomberman
Remember the days when you could plant a bom_ anywhere without being called a ter*orist? well, not in reality but in the gaming world. Breaking those walls and fitting those bom_s was amazing.
3.Contra
This one is really the best game ever made in the history of video games. I literally finished all the Contra series back in those days. if you haven't played this game then you didn't really played a thrilling game ever when you were kid.
4.The Lion King
This might not be known by some of you but i do remember playing it. I really loved Simba back in those days.
5.Teenage Mutant Ninja turtles
I started playing this game before i even knew what exactly was Ninja turtles, I remember playing those arcade fights with my brother as opponent. Really loved it, and then trying to portray the powers like Ralph, Mike, Leo and Don.
6.Pac-Man
Talking about old video games then who can forget our very favorite "pacman"? the game looked boring when i first saw it but when i started playing it back in my childhood days, i really got addicted. Best time of my life!!
7.Donkey Kong
Donkey Kong!! yet another one of my favorite video games, it was really amazing climbing all up to the king kong. Although i never find out why it's named 'Donkey' Kong when there is no donkey?

8.Duck Hunt game
This game was nice to play with for a few days but later that stupid dog became annoying for me. I always wanted to shoot that dog when he used to show his face whenever i missed a shot.
But then again shooting ducks did gave me a feeling that i am a real hunter. It was amazing.
Am i the only one who used to blow air near the gun nozzle after shooting those ducks?
9.Aladdin the game
Remember the Arab roadside guy jumping around houses to find Jasmine? Oh God, i was crazy about this game, really it was amazing running Arab streets and killing those guards and clearing levels after levels and Genie helping in between, It was just awesome. Ah, I miss this game. Sweet memories of my childhood are filled up in my heart when i am writing this.

10.Mario Bros
This video game does not need any introduction, all time favorite and still the most lovable game. Remember trying to find the princess and could never find her? don't know about you but i couldn't, because by the time i would complete some 30 levels my mom would remove the power cable and ask me to get up and go to bed.
11.Super Metroid
The game was released by Nintendo in 1994. Super Metroid is considered as one of the greatest video games of all time. The game is a sequel to 'Metroid II: Return of Samus' (1991). The original and first ever Metroid game was released back in 1986. Of all the Metroid games that were released in the 90s, Super Metroid is among the most popular ones.
12.Sonic The Hedgehog
'Sonic the Hedgehog' is one of the most entertaining and exciting 90s video games. It was very popular back then. The game gave 'Sega' (video game company) the big breakthrough it was looking for, to compete against video gaming giant Nintendo. People at Sega worked very hard to create the iconic videogame character 'Sonic the Hedgehog', which is also the official mascot of the company.
13.Street Fighter II
Do you remember Ryu from Street Fighter? Street Fighter II, which was released in 1991, is one of the best and most played fighting games in the 90s. The release of this game is still considered as a revolutionary moment in the history of fighting based video games. The video game makers around the world came to know the real potential of a fighting game with the success of Street Fighter II.
14.Tomb Raider I
From 1996 to 2000, five Tomb Raider games were released. All of them were a huge success. In fact, Tomb Raider video game series is one of the most commercially successful video game series of the 90s. 'Tomb Raider I' was an unexpected success, according to the game publishers. 15.Tekken 3
This is by far the best fighting video game ever to be released in the 90s. Tekken 3 is considered as one of the finest videogames to be ever made. We all know and remember how addictive this game can be. Over 8 million game copies were sold in the first year of the game release. The game is popular in all parts of the world.
