The Walking Man Sculpture was created by French sculptor Auguste Rodin between 1877 and 1878. The bronze sculpture is a created in the vein of St. John, without a head or arms and was allegedly created for Roman or Greek art. It has served to inspire other artists, such as poet Carl Sandburg.
