1.Iris

The iris is a flower whereby you look at it and think that it is made out of paper it is so delicate. The colors can often also be quite bold as this particular picture shows and it stands out in your garden as just being something that is a little bit different.

2.Apple Blossom

Apple blossom is beautiful not only in how it looks and the colors it has, but also the way it smells. It has a lovely perfume to it and when you put all of this together you rightfully have one of the most beautiful flowers in the world.

3.Gladioli

If you are looking for long, tall flowers with a variety of color and the ability to add some style to your garden, then gladioli has to be the one for you. The flowers are striking, they last for a long time, and you will be unable to take your eyes off them.

4.Dahlia

There are hundreds of different types of dahlia to choose from covering a range of shapes, sizes, styles, and colors. They flower all summer long and also have a lush green stem and leaves, which just helps the main flower to really stick out even more.

5.Lotus

The lotus flower just feels amazingly peaceful and perhaps that is one of the reasons as to why it is seen as being one of the most beautiful flowers in the world. It is just amazing to see it sitting there on calm water and a bit of color coming out of the blue and with so many different ones to look at you never get tired of seeing them.

6.Marigold

The marigold is all about boldness as it uses fiery colors such as red, gold, yellow, and orange. It sometimes throws them together, such as this example, resulting in something that just explodes with color and you can see how it can draw the eye in.

7.Orchid

If you are looking for a beautiful and quite graceful flower, then the orchid has to be the one for you. The entire plant is rather gorgeous, but just look at the colors that are in this flower. It is no surprise that this is something that interior designers go mad for when completing a room.

8.Tulip

One of the reasons why the tulip is so beautiful is because it has a freshness about it and you feel as if it is bringing in better weather and the winter is now behind us. The range of colors, and even different shapes, helps to make it even more gorgeous as it is impossible to not find one that you love.

9.Rose

Even if you put aside the fact that we tend to look at the rose with romance in our eyes it is still quite a stylish and beautiful flower. The way in which the petals curve around creating quite a tight flower just adds to it and with so many colors and sizes to choose from it is easy to get something you love.

10.Gerbera

The gerbera is big and bold and that is one reason why we love it so much. The centre is big and the petals are tight together resulting in a flower that really is quite gorgeous.

11.Wild lily

The lily comes in so many different colors and that is one reason why it is such a popular cut flower and available from most florists. People love its simplicity, the one shade throughout its petals and the way that it is also quite stylish and elegant.

12.Violet columbine

There is no way that anybody could argue against the fact that this is one beautiful flower. It is the striking combination of colors that really does give it its edge and in an idyllic setting it is hard to beat.
