Pinterest launched in March 2010. It was founded by Ben Silbermann, Paul Sciarra, and Evan Sharp. The website is set up like a pinboard, where users can create and pin themed images. Users can also peruse the photos of other users and re-pin (share) their photos. The website currently has approximately 85,500,000 unique monthly visitors.
