Considered the smallest mammal, the Etruscan Shrew is found in Eurasia and Africa. With a skull comparable to that of a bumble bee, these tiny little creatures have a fast heart beat of up to 1511 beats per minute, making it necessary to eat a lot to sustain them and stay alive.
