1.Winnie the Pooh

Winnie the Pooh might have been a glutton for honey, but he is a great friend. Some friendships go through bumps and lumps, but if the two people are truly friends then those issues can be mended. Pooh once told his fellow furry friends: "The only way to fix a friendship is to try."

2.Dory - Finding Nemo

Dory the fish was silly, random and extremely forgetful. But even with her flaws, she knew to remember the important things. She often offered advice to the other fish and one thing she said that most fans of the movie remember is: "Trust. It's what friends do." If you can't trust a friend, then who can you trust?

3.Fox and the Hound

It's not often you see a fox paired up with a hound, but in the cartoon world, anything can happen. Disney's the Fox and the Hound showed how two people (or in this case animals) can form a bond in spite of their differences. In the movie, Tod once told his dear friend, "We'll always be friends forever, won't we?" The movie did have a sequel, so and the pair did remain friends.

4.Peter Pan

When Peter Pan wasn't flying around bragging about never growing up, he was actually tolerable. Peter Pan found a true friend in Wendy. It would have been cute if they ventured off into the sunset together, but their friendship was adorable to watch. Peter Pan didn't shy away from telling Wendy just how much she meant to him. He said to her, "Don't you understand? You mean more to me than anything in this whole world!"

5.Toy Story - "You've Got A Friend in me"

The movie Toy Story is based on friendship. Even the film's main soundtrack song, "You've Got A Friend in Me," focuses on friendship. One of the heartwarming lyrics of the song is, "As the years go by, our friendship will never die." True friendship never dies; it just changes over the years.

6.Bruce - Finding Nemo

Bruce from Finding Nemo proves that even Sharks have a kind side. His scary teeth are enough to make you wet your pants, but Bruce is a different kind of shark. Once he sees that someone is a true friend, they're off the menu. He said in the movie, "Fish are friends, not food." Too bad humans don't feel the same.

7.Mike - Monsters Inc.

Mike Wazowski might look like a weird monster with a somewhat scary presence, but he's a huge softy at heart. He and Sully are like two peas in a pod, and this quote proves that. He said, "You and I are a team. Nothing is more important than our friendship." Of course food and shelter is important, but we get Mike's sentiments.

8.Tigger

Tigger loves to bounce and jump around. In fact, he's never really serious and tends to be the life of the party. But even a silly tiger like Tigger knows how to hold onto things. He once told Winnie the Pooh: "Your friendship is the best present ever." Not everyone is lucky enough to find a good friend, and even Tigger knows this.

9.Uncle Topolino

Cars can get you where you want to go, and toy cars like Uncle Topolino can help you understand the meaning of true friendship. Cars is an adorable film, filled with lots of messages. Uncle Topolino delivered one of the film's most recognized quotes when he said, "Everybody fights now and then, especially best friends. But you got to make up fast."

10.Buzz Lightyear

The friendship between Woody and Buzz Lightyear is one of the most captivating in all the Disney films. The pair would often take turns saving and helping one another. Buzz Lightyear was never an emotional toy, but he once said, "Woody once risked his life to save me. I couldn't call myself his friend if I weren't willing to do the same."

11.Christopher Robin

Christopher Robin is pretty oblivious for the most part. He isn't in the Winnie the Pooh series very often, but he does have his moments where he says something of substance. He once told Pooh: "That's what friends are for. They help you to be more of who you are."

12.Bagheera - Jungle Book

Even animals can offer some sound advice from time to time. In the Jungle Book, Bagheera the panther tells a young and impressionable Mowgli that "Greater love hath no one than he who lays down his life for his friend." Essentially this quote is about sacrificing yourself for the greater good of a friend.
