Henry Cavill takes on the role of Clark Kent/Superman in Man Of Steel which hit screen in 2013. Differing from the comics and other Superman movies past, this installment has Lois Lane already knowing that Clark is Superman. With tons of extended special effects, this film is action packed.
3.Pirate Of The Caribbean: dead Man's Chest - $225
Pirates Of The Caribbean: dead Man's Chest hit theaters in 2006, starring Johnny Depp at Captain Jack Sparrow who owes a debt to Davy Jones. In order to avoid the locker, Sparrow must find Davy Jones heart, so with the help of Will Turner and Elizabeth Swan, he sets out on his mission.
4.The Lone Ranger - $226
Johnny Depp stars at Tonto in the remake of the Lone Ranger that premiered in 2013, starring Armie Hammer in the title role. John Reid, the Lone Ranger, was once a lawyer who rode with his brother and some Texas Rangers chasing after Butch Cavendish. After an ambush by outlaws, Reid is left for dead but rescued by Tonto.
5.The Chronicles Of Narnia: Prince Caspian - $225
Ben Barnes stars as Prince Caspian in 2008's The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian, the exiled heir to the throne. When the four Pevensie kids return to Narnia, they discover hundreds of years have passed and the evil King Miraz is now in charge. With Prince Caspian's help, along with a mouse named Reepicheep, they set out to overthrow the King.
6.The Dark Knight Rises - $230M
Christian Bale stars at Batman in the 2012 release of The Dark Knight Rises. In this installment, Batman feels responsible in assisting the city and the police force after taking the rap for Dent's crimes in the previous film, The Dark Knight. Director Christopher Nolan delivers with action packed sequences.
7.Avatar - $237
The premiere of Avatar in 2009 saw Sam Worthington star as Jake Sully, a paraplegic Marine sent to the moon Pandora on a mission in place of his brother who is killed in a robbery. There he finds that an evil, greedy corporate head, Parker Selfridge, is trying to drive out the native humanoids Na'vi, to mine for precious metal. Offered surgery to save his legs if he helps them, the marine agrees while trying to infiltrate the Na'vi people using an avatar, in hopes of helping them secretly.

8.Harry Potter And The Half Blood Prince - $250
Harry Potter And The Half Blood Prince hit screens in 2009 with Daniel Radcliffe in the lead role. The sixth year of Hogwarts School Of Witchcraft finds the school with vacancies that Professor Dumbledore tries to fill by persuading Horace Slubhorn out of retirement. New evils await Harry as he faces his evil nemesis along with Dumbledore.
9.John Carter - $250M
John Carter was a blockbuster hit in 2012, starring Taylor Kitsch as John Carter, a Civil War veteran who was asked by the Army to join their forces in 1868. When he refuses he is locked up, but escapes. The film follows him as he is pursued, taking refuge in a cave where he finds a medallion. Upon touching it he finds he has gained incredible abilities, such as jumping to insane heights.

10.Spider-Man 3 - $258M
In 2007, the third installment in the Spider-Man franchise hit the big screen. With Tobey Macguire as Peter Parker and Kirstsen Dunst as his love interest, Mary Jane Watson, they contend with new villains as a strange black entity from another world enters the picture, his Uncle Ben's real killer who has been transformed.
11.Tangled - $260M
In 2010, Tangled premiered at theaters across America with Mandy Moore voicing the title role. Baby Rapunzel is kidnapped from the palace by Mother Gothel shortly after receiving the powers of youth from a magical flower of which Mother Gothel wants. In order to stay young, Mother Gothel locks her in a tower while the magic is contained in Rapuzel's golden hair, which grows to seventy feet long by the time she is a teenager.
