Jamie Lee Curtis became a household name after this film hit theaters. Halloween tells the story of Michael Myers who was committed as a child for the murdering his older sister. He escapes from the hospital several years later, and decides to continue killing people for the heck of it. Myers has no regard for human life, which is what makes this film scary. He's been shot more times that 50 Cent, but he keeps coming back for more. Halloween has spawned seven sequels, as well as a failure remake and sequel by director Rob Zombie.
