#12 Woman Dies From Something Other Than Botched Cosmetic Surgery
A Chicago woman, Janet Hardt, took it upon herself to create her own youthful injections from boiled animal fat. Boiling fatty meat she took the fat blobs and started injecting them into her face. Due to the pain and subsequent burns she was admitted into hospital. Surprisingly she died a few days later, not from the injections but from a gastrointestinal infection not related to her DIY surgery.
