Virginia Beach comes twelfth in a list of the safest cities in the United States and of course it is also the safest city in the state of Virginia itself. This city makes it on the list due to what could be classed as petty crime being lower than the national average as well as robbery and rape rates being below what you would expect to find elsewhere in the US.

Hialeah is the safest city in Florida and it generally ranks around the eleventh safest city in the entire United States. Chula Vista is yet another city in California that makes it onto a list of the safest cities that you can live in the entire United States. This city has a lower murder, rape, and robbery rate than you would tend to see across the country, so generally speaking it does give you a much safer feeling if you live there due to knowing that you are far less likely to encounter these crimes than most places in the United States.

Chandler is the second safest city in Arizona and according to some studies it is also the ninth safest city in the entire United States. Henderson is not only the safest place in Nevada, but it is also one of the safest cities in the entire United States. The best part about the safest cities is that they tend to be the places you never think of and Boise in Idaho certainly falls into that category. This is a city where the murder rate is at 90% lower than the national average and robbery rates are 73% below, so you can see why Boise has to appear in a list of the safest cities in the United States.
7.Scottsdale, Az
Situated in the heart of Arizona, Scottsdale currently ranks sixth in a list of the safest cities that you can live in within the United States. As the slogan says on the welcome sign here it is the most livable city and you can expect crime rates to be substantially lower than most of the country. Here you will get murder rates that are 77% lower than the national average as well as robbery rates being 55% lower, so it really is a safe place to be.

8.Irving, Texas
Irving in Texas should not be mixed up with Irvine in California, but the good thing is that Irving is also one of the safest cities in the US for you to live in thanks to crime rates being less than half what they are elsewhere in the country.
