With a surname like 'Crapper,' Thomas Crapper's destiny had already been foreseen. Sometime in the 1880s, Prince Edward hired Thomas Crapper. He was to build bathrooms throughout the royal palaces. It's always great to see your name affiliated with an invention, but no one wants their name attached to crap.
