The world may look like it is a small place because of the technological advancements we have today, but it is actually huge. Our planet is 4.5 billion years old, and we have millions of species of animals, birds, reptiles, bugs, etc. living here. We see and use many things in our lives, but most of us don't know how they are made, or how they really work. The reality around us is larger than we can imagine. Here are fifteen interesting facts that almost sound fake, but are actually true.
4.Ships are Huge
Unless you live near an ocean or sea, you don't get the opportunity to see some of the biggest ships. When there are ships that measure about half a kilometer in length (0.3 miles), you would expect them to pollute the air in a big way.

To add more to this fact, 100+ kids die in United States every year from accidental or unintentional shooting either by other kids or their own family members.

It looks like senators found no better guy than Adolf Hitler when they have to compare present day leaders or other politicians. So far, senators have used Adolf Hitler's name 1,771 times during their discussions at United States Capitol.
