Losing weight, gaining muscle, changing hairstyle, etc. does change one's appearance, so there's no point sitting idle at home hoping for things to get better! Just as the waiting skeleton meme depicts, it's never going to happen. Anyone who thinks they are ugly beyond repair just needs to accept it and try to lead a positive life. We still have a lot of people living on this planet who value people for what they are than their looks.
