"Pregnancy glow" is perhaps one of the very few good things that entice women and make them look forward to pregnancy. It is a positive physical change in the appearance of the skin due to hormonal changes. The skin of a pregnant girl looks soft, shinier, and a lot healthier than that of ordinary girls. Disappointingly, not all pregnant women experience the glow. Those who don't eat and sleep well during the pregnancy are less likely to be blessed with the pregnancy glow. Several other factors such as smoking and drinking also minimize the positive effect of hormones on the skin.
