If you watched Star Trek TOS, you already knew how redshirt characters in the show suffered a quick and painful death. There is no explanation behind that, and that's just a trope. Apparently, a billboard is displaying a message that reads as, "You Deserve the Redshirt Treatment." As a Star Trek fan, when you see such boards, you are only going to laugh hard at all those people who are going to ring that business for redshirt treatment! Capt. Picard was the only redshirt who survived seven seasons with no critical damage! As the good old proverb says, beware of an old man in a profession where men usually die young!
