"You just said you watched manga? Watched manga? Dude, kill yourself!" If you are one of those "Otakus," it will be an instant turn-off for you when an anime noob says they watch manga! To put it simply, the manga is a Japanese comic book. You can only read the manga. You can't watch it. Anime is a cartoon-like animated show made based on a manga. Hence, you can't read anime; you can only watch it.
