Jupiter has a total of 63 named satellites, which are also known as Jupiter's moons. The majority of these satellites are less than 10 kilometers in diameter. These moons were discovered after 1975, when the first spacecraft arrived on Jupiter. One of its moons, Ganymede, is the largest satellite in the Solar System, measuring 5262 km across.
