The triangle choke, also known as Sankaku Jime, is a commonly used submission maneuver of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Judo, and many other grapple arts. It happens when a person who is taken in the guard tries to cross their two legs around the neck of his opponent in an attempt to choke them. The extreme pain makes a fighter to give up the match, which in martial arts terms is called submission.
