William Bud won $16 million in the Pennsylvania Lottery in 1998. Strangely, in less than a year, the man ended up in $1 million debt. His girlfriend successfully sued and took away a big chunk of his money. His brother got arrested because he hired a hitman to kill him. He invested remaining money in his failing family business and went broke soon after.
