This diamond takes pride of place in the British crown originally brought from India during British colonization there, but when it comes to the price some argues that it is priceless and in any case any figure being thrown around is merely guesswork by experts. The figure that is generally quoted is in the region of $12 billion, but of course it will never come on the market and who would be willing to spend that kind of money on a diamond anyway?
