Steven Spielberg is a world famous director, producer, and writer who needs no special introduction.  Amy Irving was a well-known 70s and 80s actress who is now a noted TV personality. Amy Irving and Steven Spielberg dated from 1976 -1979. She also dated co-star Willie Nelson for a short time in the early 80s. 

Amy Irving and Steven Spielberg separated for some time before reconnecting back in 1985 and later married. The pair couldn't make it work the second time around and divorced just five years later, in 1989. Irving received an estimated $100 million in the divorce settlement after a judge controversially threw out a prenuptial agreement that the couple had written on a napkin.
