Have you ever wondered how Jason Statham broke into the entertainment industry? As we said earlier, his French Connection modeling gig helped him to get some recognition in the glamor and the entertainment industry. When he was a French Connection model, he met Guy Ritchie, who was then gearing up to make the 'Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels' movie. Guy Ritchie was searching for an actor who would be a right fit to the Bacon (a character name) role in the film. Bacon is a black market sales person in that movie. Guy Ritchie selected Jason Statham for the role because Jason too was a black market sales person at one point in his teen years!
