1.Soak A Sponge in White Vinegar And Place In Smelly Trash Can

Got a smelly trash can, even after you've emptied the trash. Take a sponge and soak it with white vinegar. Place in the bottom of the trash can and leave over night. When you remove the sponge the next morning, the trash can will be odor free. Reuse whenever necessary.




2.Use Dish Detergent And Warm Water In Dirty Blender

Got a dirty blender? Take some dish detergent and some warm water, and pour into blender. Turn it on as if you were making a smoothie. Let it whirl around for a minute, and then shut it off. Pour the soapy water down the drain, rinse the blender under the sink, and voila, it's all clean.



3.Clean Microwave With Water And Lemon Juice

Fill a microwavable bowl with water and place a lemon, cut in half, into the water. Place in microwave, shut the door and turn on for 2 minutes. When you remove the bowl, the grease and mess inside will come right off with a damp towel. Try to use dish toppers to prevent further messes.





4.Use Dryer Sheet To Dust

Dryer sheets make the best dusters. Save old ones from your dryer and use them whenever your dusting. The fibers attract dust and hold onto it, so it doesn't go flying into the air, and into your nose. For those allergic to dust, this is a great alternative, and much cheaper, too.



5.Place A Cotton Ball Soaked In Favorite Essential Oil In Your Vacuum Bag

Moisten a cotton ball, or two, with your favorite essential oil, then toss into your vacuum cleaner bag. Now, instead of that dusty smell that comes from you vacuum as you clean the rub, a beautiful aroma will fill the room. Mix and math your own oil concoctions for a different smell every time. Not only cleans the rug, but deodorizes the whole room, too.





6.Use Vodka To Eliminate Foot Odor In Shoes

Dilute some vodka in water and fill an empty spray bottle, then spray you smelly shoes or boots. The alcohol absorbs odor and dries quickly, leaving your boots and shoes smelling great. That is, until you put your feet back into them. Remember to change your socks if they just came out of the smelly boots.



7.Use Mayonnaise To Get Crayon Off Walls

Mayo and a damp cloth are all you need to get crayon marks off he wall. Simply apply some mayo to a white cloth for white walls, or a similar colored cloth to your colored walls, and work into the crayon marks. They will come right out. Then it's time out for your little ones.

A great way to dust off fan blades without blowing the dust into the air, is to use a pillow case. Take an old pillow case, place it over the blade and swish around. The dust will fall into the pillow case. When done with all the blades, you can place it in a trash bag, and shake it out, while keeping the trash back tight closed around it.
