How old is our modern world? Hardly, 150 to 200 years. How much damage have we done to the planet? Well, so much!!! Human beings have been living on this planet for the past 200,000 years. We discovered electricity. We invented automobiles and revolutionized the way we travel. We made computers. We built skyscrapers. It is unbelievable how we managed to do all these in just a couple of centuries, keeping the fact in mind that humans survived 200,000 years with no modern-day comforts. Be it ozone layer depletion or global warming, we messed up our planet the most in just about 200 years. 7.Child Labor
More than 10% of the world children population work instead of getting educated. More than half of them work in hazardous environments. Labor laws, particularly relating to child labor, are very weak in many countries.
8.Physical Inactivity
We sit in the office for hours, come home in our cars, motorcycles, and still remain seated for hours to play video games, watch TV or to browse the internet. Physical inactivity is one of the many reasons for obesity, diabetes or cardiovascular diseases, particularly in the young generation.
9.Herd Mentality
Most of us do what everyone else around us does. We are always unwilling to a take a step that changes ours as well as others live drastically. Though the common path is crowded and long, we still walk that way because we never think out of the box.
