Lean red meat, particularly beef, is high in iron as well as zinc. Zinc prevents free radicals from getting into the sperm and damaging their cells. It also prevents testosterone from converting into estrogen. Both these factors outweigh the fat and cholesterol, if you choose extra lean cuts of meat and only eat it once a week or twice a month.
