A bottle of 1787 Chateau Lafite goes for $160,000, and is considered the most expensive wine in the world. This Bordeaux has maintained that title for 18 years in the Guinness Book of World Records. With the initials Th.J engraved into the glass, the hefty price tag suits its original owner, Thomas Jefferson.




2.Dog - Red Tibetan Mastiff $1.5 mill

The Red Tibetan Mastiff goes for $1.5 million dollars and has had such owners as the one and only Buddha as well as Genghis Khan. This ancient breed was a flock guardian dog for cattle, tents and villages. With a long life expectancy of 10 to 14 years, this dog is not a true Mastiff, being named that because mastiff means big.



3.Harry Winston Ruby Slippers $3 mil

Made of 4.600 rubies, equalling 1,350 carats, these shoes also boast 50 carats of diamonds, making them the most expensive shoes int he world. Taking two months to make, Ronald Winston of the House of Harry Winston, created them in honor of the 50th anniversary of the Wizard of Oz.

You can find this burger at Serendipity 3, in New York City, and sink your teeth into the Guinness World Record breaker by paying a whopping $295. The burger is required to be ordered 48 hours ahead of time. Made of Japanese Wagyu beef with white truffle butter, topped with shaved black truffles, covered in hand formed cheese and then topped with a fried quail egg, it's quite yummy.

This vintage, 1962 Ferrari 250 GTO, is worth $41 million dollars, and considered on of the most expensive cars in the world. According to the chairman of classic Ferrari, John Collins, claims that "classic Ferrari's have seen more gains than others, they're like the Picassos of the car world.

The cost of living in Tokyo, per square meter, is quoted as being the most expensive in the world. As the center of the latest in advanced technology, Tokyo is rich with traditional culture. With 12 bedrooms, a jacuzzi, terrace and gym, the room also includes a butler, personal chef and a security team. Considered the most expensive suite in the world, the large windows overlook the Alps as well as Lake Geneva.

8.Walking Man sculpture $104 mill

The Walking Man Sculpture was created by French sculptor Auguste Rodin between 1877 and 1878. The bronze sculpture is a created in the vein of St. John, without a head or arms and was allegedly created for Roman or Greek art. It has served to inspire other artists, such as poet Carl Sandburg.

10.Feather: Extinct Huia Bird - $6787

A single feather from the extinct Huia Bird was auctioned off for $6787 in New Zealand. The winning bidders, a family from Wellington, are said to own a collection of Maori artifacts. The bird, itself, was last seen in 1907, and it's feathers were typically used as an accessory for Maori chiefs.



11.2. Drawing: Raphael's Head of a Muse $47.9 mill

Raphael's Head of a Muse goes for a whopping $47.9 million dollars at an auction in London. Drawn by Raphael between 1508 and 1511, it is considered one of his greatest masterpieces. It was inked as a study in the Stanza della Segnatura in the Vatican. Commissioned by Pope Julius II, this painting was auctioned off in 2009, the first time in 150 years. .
