The Myth: Dogs sweat through their tongues.
The Truth: When a dog's tongue is hanging out, he is panting, not sweating through his tongue.. The only sweatglands they have are in their footpads. Panting does cool them off by evaporating the moist lining of their lungs and bringing it to the surface.
