2.Abraham Lincoln

Lincoln lost both his parents at an early age and was born by all accounts into poverty. His thirst for knowledge led him to studying law. later as President his main war was against slavery. He was quoted as saying 'When a man fights for slavery I fight a strong impulse to see it tried on him personally.'

Probably best known for his personification of evil due to exterminating thousands of Jews and other 'undesirables'. Adolf Hitler not only led the world into war but also remained charming and charismatic throughout the whole process.





4.Margaret Thatcher

Thatcher was Britain's first female Prime Minister. Despite the UK having determined that there would never be one. Leader of the Conservative party, Thatcher known as the 'Milk snatcher' removing free milk that was given to schools. Her fiscal policy nearly landed the country into a massive recession and her popularity declined due to the implementation of Poll Tax. Her successor Tony Blair ironically maintained many of her monetary policies.



5.Muhammed Ali

First hitting the boxing scene as Cassius Clay he became one of the most formidable boxers ever known. Later Clay changed his name to Muhammed Ali for religious reasons. One of the most well remembered boxers ever to walk earth, he was never shy in praising his own skills.





6.Louis Pasteur

A big hearted chemist who invented cures with love in his heart. His fight against bacteria lead to many of his drugs being springboards to current drug compounds today. He was probably most famous for teaching people how to pasteurize milk.



7.Mother Teresa

This Roman catholic Nun devoted her life to helping the poor and loving humanity. She never challenged peoples religion she just gave them love. She herself once confessed to never feeling the presence of God and the Roman Catholic Church gave her first nomination towards becoming a Saint.

One of Americas biggest success stories, Oprah born to a relatively poor household as well as an abusive one, rose from the ashes like a phoenix to become one of the richest and most influential people on earth. It is said that she wields more influence on culture and society than any president or political leader.

American rock and roll singer enthralled audiences for decades with his deep silky voice and hip wiggling dance routines. He is still selling records even though he died in the 70s.

Born Norma Jean Baker she seemed destined for a regular and hard life. Her mother was mentally ill and her father never known. Monroe catapulted herself to fame by changing her looks, being controversial and seducing audiences world-wide.
