Papercut Sculptures From Single Sheet Of A4

1.dead bird

This sculpture is cool, but at the same time it is also a bit sad. It does of course show a bird that is dead and that is a bit spooky, but you have to admire the way in which it has all been cut out and you just wonder what kind of a life the bird had before it met its demise.

2.The puppet

How cool is this? You kind of feel sorry for the puppet at the bottom as he looks as if he is totally exhausted while the guy above is having the time of his life and dancing like crazy. However, you have to admit that you are looking at him just hoping that he springs back to life.

3.Floral

The part that strikes you with this sculpture is the way in which it hangs over the edge of the table because how is it managing to do that without it just snapping? The cutting out itself cannot have been easy when you see the amount of detail in it, so just sit back and admire the skill of the artist in question.

4.Temple

There appears to be two different things going on here as first you have this temple at the front, but then the artist has cut out more paper to create this shadow of other temples in the background. It certainly gives some real depth to the sculpture and it is very well done indeed.

5.Complex head

There really is so much going on here that it is easy to lose track of what you are actually looking at. The main thing that you need to do is to remember that it is a head, but spend some time checking out every single part that you see before you and you may be surprised at what you discover.

6.Fire!

Even though this sculpture may not be as complex as some of the others there is no doubt that it is still very effective at creating some emotion and a reaction from the people that look at it. Obviously it shows people running away from fire and you wonder how there is so much energy in the people when they are just paper.

7.The tree

There is no doubt that there is a lot of life from this particular sculpture even though once again you can work out what has been done to create the effect. You feel as if the tree itself is growing before your very eyes, but that is clearly thanks to the skill of the artist.

8.Thoughtful

There is something quite cool about this piece of artwork because it does appear as if the skeleton is sitting there thinking about the man that he sees before him. This is such a clever piece of art that you cannot help but wonder just what is actually going through his mind.

9.Skeleton hand

This is both creepy and cool in equal measure because you feel as if it could just start moving, but then you wonder where the rest of it has gone. It really does not even look like paper in this image, but that is due to the skill of the artist.

10.Falling man

This sculpture is rather dramatic looking since it appears as if the guy is falling and a passerby is trying their best to help him. It is obvious as to what has been done to create the image, but that does not mean that you cannot help but be impressed by it.

11.Hummingbird

You could be forgiven for thinking that this bird could just fly away because it just feels as if it has so much energy and that those wings could really move. How the person works out which part to cut is a mystery, but the end result is certainly something that is rather amazing to look at.

12.Jesus

The fact that this comes from just a single sheet of A4 really is amazing. The detail and the way in which it is shaped is just something that you will struggle to comprehend, but it needs a steady hand and an ability to work those scissors in a way most people cannot.
