When you visit the National Museum of Scotland you get two museums in one shot. In 2006, the merger of the Museum of Scotland and the Royal Museum, formed the National Museum of Scotland as we know it today. Consisting of the two museums that stand side by side, they are connected to each other, residing on Chambers street at the intersection of the George IV Bridge.
