Joe DiMaggio, a popular baseball player back then, loved Marilyn Monroe till the end although the marriage lasted only 9 months. After Monroe's death, he continued sending roses to her grave three times a week, for the next 20 years. His last words were, "I will finally get to see Marilyn."

Edward VIII became King of England in 1936. He had to give up the throne because he fell in love with a married American woman named Wallis Simpson, and wanted to marry her. According to the Royal protocol, a king can't marry a divorced or married woman. Edward VIII had to choose between love and the Kingdom. He chose the woman, and made way for his brother George VI to become the king. George VI was the father of Queen Elizabeth.
3.Story Behind the Taj Mahal
Taj Mahal is one of the most recognizable pieces of construction on Earth. However, not all people clearly know the story. Taj Mahal was built by Emperor Shah Jahan in remembrance of his wife Mumtaz Mahal, who died giving birth to their 14th child. Over 20,000 people worked to construct the most beautiful mausoleum.

Both Jay-Z and Beyonce pamper each other by buying ridiculously expensive gifts for each other. Beyonce once bought Jay-Z a $5 million watch. Jay-Z bought her a 12.5 acre private island located 2.5 miles off the Florida's coast, on her 29th birthday.

In 2011, Justin Bieber rented out the famous sports arena Staples Center in Los Angeles, to spend time with Selena Gomez. The couple ate dinner and watched Titanic movie together, all alone, in 20,000 seat arena.

Dashrath Manji, a daily wage laborer in India shattered a 300 ft hill singlehandedly, as the hill was blocking way to the nearest town. Because of the hill, his villagers need to take a 34 mile journey to reach the town that's just a few miles away. His wife Phagunia Devi died in 1959 as she didn't received emergency medical care after an accident. The husband thought he could have saved his wife if there was no hill in the first place. Over the years, the man totally smashed the hill to ground so no one has to suffer like him.

Turia Pitt is a former Australian model who suffered burns over 65% of her body, trapped in a bushfire while running a marathon. Her longtime boyfriend Michael Hoskin quit his job to take care of her. While she was recovering in the hospital, he proposed to her with a diamond ring.
