A Big Black Watermelon

This big black watermelon sold for $6 Million dollars at a Japanese auction. It was grown on the island of Hokkaido where watermelons are said to be a rarity and luxury item. It was purchased by a marine company who wished to inject funds into local agriculture. One wonders how the purchaser felt when the melon got older and shrunk and became nothing but a rotten black fruit?
