Just-born babies do look weird, and you are only going to find them beautiful unless you are the parent or close relative of a child. They are too fragile and can hardly open their eyes. Until the doctor or nurse washes them, they smell like raw meat! Until they are a few days old, it's hard to tell whom they resemble.
