1.Johnny Depp's Silver Teeth

Johnny Depp's Teeth are a little different. He has a smile that makes hearts melt. Some women are too busy looking at his face to realize he has two silver capped teeth. On top of that, the actor wanted some of his teeth to be gold-capped for his movie, Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl. He went to the dentist and had many of his teeth capped. Disney head honcho, Michael Eisner, like his new teeth but thought he had way too many capped and asked Depp to remove some of them.

2.Johnny Depp's Skull Rings

Johnny Depp is almost always photographed with either one of both of his signature silver skull rings. While some may think the rings are morbid or evil, his reasoning for wearing them is quite the contrary. Depp wears the rings to remind himself that life is short and he needs to live every moment to its fullest.



3.Johnny Depp's Smoking Habit

Johnny Depp has been seen smoking in various movie roles. He's even posed for a few photo shoots with a cigarette in his mouth. While some people wait until the legal age to smoke, Depp decided to start a tad bit earlier. The actor reportedly started smoking when he was just 12-years-old.

In 2008, Johnny Depp's daughter Lily-Rose Melody was hospitalized for an E-Coli infection. To show his gratitude to the hospital for treating his daughter, he donated $2 million to the Great Ormond Street Hospital. He also dressed up as Captain Jack and read stories to the children in the hospital.

He and ex-girlfriend Vanessa Paradis had anestate in Plan de la Tour, France In 2011; however, Depp became a U.S. resident once again because France wanted him to become a permanent resident. If he had chosen to become a permanent resident in France, he would've had to pay income tax in both countries.

Johnny Depp played a cop on the now-defunct show 21 Jump Street, but he's been on the other end of the law in real-life. Depp has been arrested twice in his 50-years of life. He was in 1994 for allegedly causing severe damage to a New York City hotel room and then again in 1999 for scuffling with a paparazzo in France.



7.Nicholas Cage Helped Make Johnny Depp

If it wasn't for Nicholas Cage's advice, Johnny Depp would have probably never got into acting. Depp's ex-wife introduced him to Cage during a visit to Los Angeles, California. Cage urged a young Depp to focus on acting, to which he listened and nabbed his debut role in the 1984 film, A Nightmare on Elm Street.

10.Johnny Depp: The Collector

Johnny Depp doesn't just tote guns and wear mustaches on movie sets. The actor has a huge collection of guns, bugs and fake mustaches. The mustache collection is predictable since Depp is rarely seen without one these days. As for the bug collection, Depp once told talk show host Jay Leno that he has a "profound respect for bugs."



11.Wino Forever Tattoo

Johnny Depp has several tattoos covering his body. But his most prominent tattoo is the one on his arm that reads, "Wino Forever." In 1990, the tattoo read "Winona Forever," in honor of his then-fiance Winona Ryder who he co-starred with in Edward Scissorhands. Once their relationship ended, Depp had the tattoo lasered to read "Wino Forever."





12.Charlie and the Chocolate Factory

In 2005, Johnny Depp took on the task of playing Willy Wonka in the movie Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. Most people don't know that when Depp was a child, he had an allergy to chocolate. Fortunately, he got over it and was able to take on the candy-themed role.
