Jenny Lawson (@The Bloggess) is a popular American journalist, author and blogger. She is the author of the book 'Let's Pretend This Never Happened', which also happened to be a New York Times' bestseller, back in 2012. She recently shared this tweet to her followers. She put herself in a rather embarrassing situation at an Airport after which her fans showed their support by sharing their most embarrassing stories.

2.This Unexpected Text from a New Employee to a Boss

Soon after Jenny Lawson shared her awkward moment, her followers started responding to her with their personal embarrassing experiences. As you can read from this picture, a lady has wrongly sent a text message to her new boss, instead of sending it to her boyfriend. Well, that was indeed not the best way to start things at a new workplace!

3.Not the Best Choice of Words

Some of us love to use idioms way too often. Idiomatic speech sounds very cool sometimes. You can always use idioms as when you want, but sometimes you may end up in a completely awkward situation because of them. Check this woman who used one exactly at a time where she should not have used that particular 'cost an arm and leg' idiom. (For those who don't know: This idiom actually refers to something that is too expensive to buy.)

This is really an embarrassing situation. She might have apologized and left the place, but the incident will haunt her for days, or even weeks. Whenever she remembers this incident, she would definitely tell to herself 'Oh god, why?' Almost all people on this planet have their own embarrassing moments.

Sometimes, some of us get overexcited, and start doing all sorts of stupid things and end up sounding or looking like a complete fool. Unfortunately, some people keep embarrassing themselves daily. We don't know what category this lady falls in, but she did make everyone of us laugh.

This too is one of the worst embarrassing situations one can get into. When you are out on road, you gotta be attentive and need to focus on what's happening around you. This incident is a best example how talking on phone or texting can divert and weaken your attention and focus.

This is one of those situations where you badly want to run away from the place and never look back. With all other things, slip of your tongue too puts you in embarrassing situations. This incident is a best example why you need to be watchful on what you are saying. Keep calm, talk well, and don't try to kill old people!

Nannies don't need to keep lighthouses! Lighthouse keepers are there to take care of them. Everyone needs to work on two things before attending an interview. First is they need to thoroughly research about the job requirements, and the second is to learn how to keep calm and stay focused during an interview.

He could have simply said 'baby horses'.  We think the couple might have had a good laugh about it. Sometimes we tend to forget things. We even forget some words, and cannot recall them when we desperately need them. This can be embarrassing at times, but not as embarrassing as talking to a person whom we know but forgotten their name!

Though most of them may not find your act offending, such incidents take long time to fade off from your memory. Remember, if you keep putting yourself in embarrassing situations, you must consult a doctor immediately. It may be a sign of an underlying psychological condition.

Thank God, at least she was not scared! Sometimes you try so many things on your face or hair that they start looking like someone else's. This awkward situation is not all that bad when you compare this to those situations where people bump into glasses and break them altogether!
