In 2006, American investor Steven Cohen purchased this painting from David Geffen (DreamWorks SKG) for $145.4 million.
15.No. 5, 1948 by Jackson Pollock ($148.1 Million)
Jackson Pollock, an American abstract painter, created this painting in 1948. David Geffen (DreamWorks SKG) sold the painting to a Mexican businessman David Martinez. The deal fetched David Geffen $148.1 million.
