1.Kelly Clarkson

Kelly Clarkson has paid her dues as an artist, and if you want her at your event you have to pay some hefty dues as well. The American idol alum has the largest asking price of any of the contestants of the competition series. Booking Clarkson for a private event will run you $300,000.

2.50 Cent

Rapper 50 Cent charges just a fraction of what he's worth for private appearance. He reportedly charges anywhere between $600,000 and $700,000 for appearances. It's only a matter of time before he ramps up the charge to $1 million. Having 50 Cent at your party could be fun, just make sure you have enough bulletproof vests to go around.

3.Lionel Richie

For the right price, Lionel Richie will be saying hello and dancing on your ceiling. The legendary artist is worth millions, but that's not his asking price for private events. Richie is said to appear at private occasions for $250,000. He doesn't charge per song like some artists, so the buyer will be in for a show.

4.Selena Gomez

Selena Gomez is just making her mark on the entertainment world, but don't think you can get the young starlet for cheap. The singer-actress reportedly asks for a minimum of $100,000 to perform at private gigs and events. The figure could very well increase If Gomez feels like charging more. 

5.Paris Hilton

Paris Hilton doesn't have to work a day in her life, but she doesn't like to disappoint her fans. The mogul and heir reportedly takes in anywhere between $100 - 500K just to travel to your event and party with you.Spending this money would be an investment, since Hilton would more than likely spend 50 percent of the time posing for photos that you can later sell.

6.Christina Aguilera

Since Christina Aguilera hasn't had a hit album since 2006, she needs all the money she can get. The Voice judge once asked for $1 million for an hour long performance at a private Halloween party in San diego, California. Maybe that $1 million can help her promote her next album when it finally comes out.

7.Cher

Cher's career might have slowed down over the years, but her appearance price is still up. The singer reportedly asks for $1.5 million per private appearance. Hopefully anyone who books her for their party makes sure to request that she perform her old material, because her new songs are dreadful.

8.Jay-Z

Jay-Z might be a mogul and an entrepreneur, but he won't settle for less. In 2012, the rapper Jay-Z charged $1 million for his appearance at the Cosmopolitan Resort and Casino in Las Vegas for a New Year's Eve party. Given how much Jay-Z is worth, this was probably chump change to him.

9.Mariah Carey

Having a Diva like Mariah Carey sing at your party or event can be pricey. The Grammy award-winning songstress charges $250,000 per song, for a four song serenade, which totals $1 million. For that amount of money, you're better off buying four of her songs off of iTunes for a $1.29 each and blast them through your speaker system.

10.Justin Bieber

Justin Bieber has more money than most adults. The 19-year-old isn't hard up for cash, but his appearances don't come cheap. Bieber is said to charge $1 million for just an hour-long performance. An hour may seem like a long time, but once you get past all of Bieber's random posing and winking, there's only enough time for a handful of songs.

11.Rihanna

For someone who sounds like a goat when she sings, Rihanna sure has a huge appearance fee. In 2012, Rihanna was paid $8 million to perform at a London mall for a Christmas tree lighting ceremony. Rihanna sang a few songs for the crowd and hit the switch to light up the tree; something a random passerby could have done.

12.Beyonce

If you thought Beyonce's perfumes were expensive, then you'll think her appearance fee is an abomination. The singeris a hot commodity, so her fee isn't shocking. Beyonce once earned $2 million to perform at a private St. Barts party on New Year's Eve. The price could be because of the time of year it was, or maybe that's just what Beyonce normally requests.
