Everybody goes through a bad time. Unfortunately, there is nothing much we can do to prevent that from happening. However, we can do a few things to keep our spirits up. If you can somehow make your mind busy in thinking about other things, you can easily come out of a bad mood. Here are fifteen simple things you can do to comfort yourself and get back on to the track when you are feeling down.
1.Drink a Cup of Water
Dehydration can make you feel bad at the end of the day. Drink lots of water. Don't drink soda or juice.
2.Take a Nap
The more you think about something, the more you are likely to stay in a bad mood. Taking a nap gives your brain a temporary yet much-needed break.
3.Take a Hot Shower
Taking a hot shower can make you feel very relaxed. Cleaning yourself is always a good idea when you are feeling down.
4.Eat a Fruit
Sometimes, lack of energy can make you feel down, exhausted or confused. Eat a healthy snack like fruit, but avoid eating junk food.
5.Take a Walk Down the Street
The trick to happiness is making your brain stop thinking about unwanted things. Keep it busy and engaged with activities like a simple walk down the street.
6.Wear a Comfortable Dress
Get rid of you work or daytime clothes and jump into your favorite night dress. You will start feeling good instantly.
7.Take a Trip to Library or Local Park
Get out of your room, and visit a library or local park. Also, you can visit a friend or hang out with a bunch of friends.

8.Talk to an Old Friend of Yours
When you are finding it very difficult to go through a bad day, talk to one of your best friends. Meet them in person or speak to them on the phone.
9.Listen to Some Upbeat Music
Music always helps you relax. To feel good, listen to some upbeat music. You can find such relaxing music tracks on YouTube.

10.Do Some Exercise
Exercise or aerobics helps your brain release some 'feel good' chemicals that will help you get over the things that are bothering you.
11.Set Little Tasks and Accomplish Them
It always makes us feel good when we achieve something. Set little tasks like making the bed, shopping for groceries, etc. and achieve them.
12.Make a 'Done' List
If you are a kind of person who frequently goes through depression, never make a 'to do' list. Instead, make a 'done' list, and write something in it whenever you finish something.
13.Play with Pets
Playing with pets is one of the best remedies to forget worries and tensions you may have. Playing with pets gives a sense of enjoyment and love which helps overcome bad mood.
14.Watch Funny Videos on YouTube
There are millions of them in YouTube. Search and find some funny videos, and they will take care of your bad mood!
15.Have Some Romance
Sex too helps your brain release those 'feel good' chemicals. If you have a partner, have sex. If you don't have a partner, explore ways to excite yourself sexually.
Depression, anxiety, mood swings - whatever the name is, the actual problem is in your mind. As long as you think you have a problem, you are not going to come out of it. As long as you think you are going through a bad time or a bad day, you are not going to feel happy about it. The trick here is to forget about shit that already happened, and move on hoping for a better tomorrow!
