1.Withings Pulse

Withings Pulse was unveiled in September 2013. This digital trainer is the smallest device on the market that can tell you calories burned, heart rate, steps taken, your sleeping patterns and more. The device is so small that you can just clip it to your belt and go on your way. The device even has a cool Withings Health Mate app that allows you to connect your Bluetooth.Users can keep track of their progress for up 14 days thanks to the device's OLED screen. This little magical black box can be purchased online for just $99. The Withings Pulse is compatible with the iPhone, iPad, IPod Touch, and Android 2.3.3 or higher. In June 2013, Withings received the Design Award from Futur en Seine for this device.




2.Apple iWatch

Samsung once again beats Apple to the punch. In July 2013, it was announced that Apple was developing a smartwatch called the iWatch. It has been reported that Apple's team of designers and engineers worked on the iWatch, and the company filed 79 patents related to smartwatch technology. Since that announcement, news of an iWatch has died down. Many are led to believe that Apple decided to shelf the idea, but with the release of Samsung's Galaxy Gear on the horizon, Apple is sure to find some way to compete.



3.iPad 5

For months there have been rumors that Apple will unveil a new iPad, the iPad5, in October 2013. In fact, there's word that the device will be introduced as early as October 22. The iPad 5 is rumored to be a9.7-inch Retina display tablet; featuring the iPad mini-style design but in a smaller size, with thinner side bezels, and an improved processor.





4.Samsung Galaxy Gear

Samsung has turned one of the most fabricated inventions into a reality.Samsung Galaxy Gear is a smartwatch that was announced on September 4, 2013, by Samsung. Since its announcement, Samsung has been running ads and commercials on a daily basis. The Gear works with the Galaxy Note 3 and Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 edition. It also works with the Galaxy S4 and Galaxy S III 3G without S Voice support. The Samsung Galaxy Gear will ultimately boost and improve the user's smartphone mobile experience. The device will be available on September 25, 2013 in more than 140 countries. The Galaxy Gear will be released in early October in the United States for $299.



5.SonyVAIO Pro 13

Sony has done it again with the VAIO Pro 13. This laptop is a must-have for techies. VAIO is one of Sony's most popular laptop lines. The VAIO Pro 13 is a widely popular Ultra Book that was released in July 2013. This computer has a 1.8GHz processor and runs on Windows 8. Additionally, it has fourth generation Intel� Core� i5-4200U, a 13.3" Full HD IPS touch display, 4GB RAM and a 256GB SSD.





6.Kindle Fire HDX

Move over iPad, the Kindle Fire HDX is in town.The Kindle Fire HDX is the third generation in the Kindle Fire line. The device was announced on September 25, 2013 and will be available in two versions - 7" and 8.9". Both models use Fire OS 3.0, which is based on Android 4.2.2. One of the cool new features included in this generation is the 'mayday' button, which allows users to contact tech-support at any time of the day. The button also allows consumers to make purchases through the Amazon Appstore and Amazon.The 7" model will be released on October 18, and the 8.9" model will be released on November 7.



7.Playstation 4

The PlayStation 4 (PS4) is one of the most anticipated consoles to-date. The system will compete with the Xbox One this November. The PS4 was introduced to the masses on February 20, 2013. The system's controller will have a 'share' button so gamers can view their friends' live in-game play. The system alsoincludes a cloud gaming service calledGaikai that will offer streaming video game content. The Sony PlayStation 4will be released on November 15, 2013, in North America, and November 29, 2013 in Europe and Australia.

8.Xbox One

The Xbox One was once called the Xbox 720 during the development stages. This is the third console in the Xbox series. The console was officially unveiled to the public in May 2013. During its showcase, it was revealed that the Xbox One would be an all-in-one entertainment system, where users can watch live television, Skype and do much more. Microsoft initially put some rigorous restrictions on consumers who purchase this console, some of which include mandatory integration with the Kinect, and no sharing or resale of used games. These restrictions and the elevated price did not sit well with fans. Microsoft in turn decided to remove these restrictions. The Xbox One is available for pre-order now. The console will officially go on-sale November 22, 2013, but Amazon lists the release date to be December 31.



9.BlackBerry 10

BlackBerrys may seem like a thing of the past, but the brand is still thriving. The BlackBerry 10 was released on January 30, 2013, with its most stable release hitting the market in July 2013. BlackBerry 10 supports both the 3G and 4G networks. The device comes with a 16 GB internal memory, 32 GB external memory, as well as 2 GB RAM. For multimedia lovers, it also has a 3.5mm jack and a 8MP primary camera. The phone runs on BlackBerry 10 OS (upgradable to v10.1).

10.Samsung Galaxy S4

Samsung's Galaxy series is giving the iPhone a run for its money. The Android-based phone was first unveiled on March 13, 2013 in New York. The phone resembles its predecessors, but its hardware has been upgraded. The Galaxy S4 officially went on-sale in April 2013 on over 300 carriers in 155 countries. Its release made it the fastest-selling smartphone in Samsung's history. In just two months, Samsung sold 20 million Galaxy S4 models.



11.iPhone 5s

Apple continues to come up with random names to symbolize its latest version of the iPhone. After months of speculation, Apple announced and introduced the iPhone 5s on September 10, 2013, with the phone going on sale just 10 days later. This latest iPhone version integrates a 64-bit Apple A7 processor and a built-in fingerprint sensor called Touch ID on its home button. The iPhone 5s also has better resolution and a slightly bigger screen than its predecessor. Though the iPhone 5s has been a hit among consumers, its operating system the iOS 7 has not. Many longtime iPhone users say the operating system is too much like the Android interface.

12.Google Glass

Google Glass (also written as GL?SS) is a wearable computer developed by Google X. GL?SShas an optical head-mounted display that showcases information, much like a smartphone, just in a hands-free manner. It allows users to communicate with the Internet using voice commands. It has 12GB of usable memory and 1GB of RAM. The GL?SS is not fitted with lenses, but Google is mulling over the possibility to partnering up with sunglass retailers. The Google GL?SS was released in February 2013. Consumers thought they'd be able to get their hands on one of these nifty devices this year, but the GL?SS will officially go on-sale to the public beginning in 2014. The GL?SS will reportedly cost $300-$500.
