Google+ is a social networking website owned by Google Inc. Due to the amount of Gmail users who have linked their profile to the site; it is hailed as the second-largest social networking site in the world. Before this year, Twitter held the title of being the second-largest social networking site. As of May 2013, Google+ is said to have a total of 500 million registered users. The site has approximately 235 million active users a month. Google+ was founded in 2011.
