1.Insurgent

This is actually the second novel in her Divergent trilogy and it is a truly wonderful read from start to finish. This book covers themes such as romance, bravery, working together, friendship, and even though it is difficult to actually describe the plot it is quite an easy book to read even tough it is best to have read the first one to make sense of it all.

2.The Fault in Our Stars

The entire story is narrated by a 16 year old with cancer and how she copes with falling in love with a guy at a support group. It is quite a sad book in that she tries not to get too close to the guy to stop him from suffering too much when she does indeed die and the film version will also be out pretty soon as well.

3.Just One Day

This is a romance novel following a girl as she completes a trip around Europe who falls in love with a guy that she meets at the end of her journey. What follows is 24 hours where she takes risks that she would not normally do, but decisions during that day will change the way her life will then proceed from that moment on.

4.Faking It

This is quite a funny book as it is all about the trials and tribulations of being in a relationship with a bad boy and having parents that would really not like him at all. This means that when the parents show up as a surprise that a fake guy has to play the boyfriend and you just know this will be turned into a movie.

5.The Elite

This book is all about six girls trying to win the heart of the prince in a competition, but all is not as it seems with royalty and there are also a number of battles to be won between the six girls that are left. This is a clever novel with a unique storyline and it is certainly an enjoyable read.

6.The Archived

The idea of this book is that the dead are simply rested on shelves like books and as you can imagine looking after all of this is one scary job. This is a paranormal thriller that is going to grab you and not let go until it is finished, so buy it, settle down, and enjoy the ride.

7.The Moon and More

This is described as being the perfect young adult romance novel and it is certainly quite light to read and moves along at a reasonable pace. OK it does mean that if you hate romance, then this is not for you, but overall it is enjoyable with characters that you can connect with and it will certainly help to waste some time.

8.The Program

This is a book aimed at teens and is set in a world where teen suicide has become an epidemic. It focuses on a family trying to keep their other child alive by getting them into a program to stop it from happening, but the program erases their memories, but they do not want to do that so hide their feelings. This is a clever book and a great read.

9.Requiem

This is the third book in the Delirium trilogy, so even though it means you should really read the first two, this book on its own is also a fantastic read. It may be a romance novel, but it is fast paced and it can really hold your attention and is ultimately a fantastic book that should be on your reading list.

10.Clockwork Princess

This is the third novel in the Infernal Devices trilogy and it really does sign things off with a bang. This is classed as a young adult novel set in Victorian times, but not as boring as you think. It is seriously well written although you will feel as if you are missing out on something if you have not read anything else by the author, so perhaps catch up elsewhere first.

11.Scarlet

This is actually the second book in the Lunar Chronicles, so you do need to read the first one or you will be absolutely lost as to what is going on. There is a lot of continuation of plots and storylines in this book, so if you want to find out what the fuss is all about, then get the first one and start reading.

12.Allegiant

This is the third book in her Divergent trilogy and of course this means that there has been a lot of build up to this book and people have been desperate to read it. This book is thrilling, it is dark, and it is seriously well written, but do be aware that you need to read the other two in order to fully appreciate this one.
