Admit it; we all are afraid of something! It is called a phobia. They are mostly harmless. However, some phobias can totally ruin lives. Since celebrities too are humans like us, they have phobias too. Some of our celebs have strange phobias, though. Their fears are so unique that we find them weird. 1.Johnny Depp - Coulrophobia
Coulrophobia is fear of clowns. Johnny Depp once said in an interview that he is afraid of clowns. Johnny Depp finds clowns and their makeup scary. He said, "it's impossible, thanks to their painted-on smiles, to distinguish if they are happy or if they are about to bite your face off!" Many people are afraid of clowns; you are not alone Johnny!
2.Katy Perry - Achluophobia
Achluophobia is fear of darkness. In an interview with Radio Times, Katy Perry has said she is afraid of darkness. She said she always sleep with lights on. She believes darkness is closely associated to evil. She said, "I think a lot of evil things go on in the dark. I still have to cover my toes because I'm like that kid who thinks there's a witch under my bed who's going to eat my tootsies off."
Katy Perry is also afraid of her parents. Since Katy grew up in a strict orthodox Christian family, she wasn't allowed to listen to any music other than gospel. She used to sneak pop music CDs into house, but was always afraid that her parents might catch her.

3.Jennifer Lawrence - Arachnophobia
You may already know that arachnophobia is fear of spiders. Jennifer Lawrence, who is well known for playing fearless and daredevil characters in her movies, is actually very afraid of spiders. She said, "Everybody told me there were no spiders, so when I saw three, I started crying. Jungles are not easy when you're afraid of everything. I think I am a legitimate alcoholic. No, what's it called? An Arachnophobic."
Jennifer Lawrence is also afraid of annoying people. Yes, you heard it right. She fears annoying people!
4.Taylor Swift - Fear Of Sea Urchins
Sea urchins are sea creatures that resemble hedgehogs. Sea urchins are also called sea hedgehogs. Taylor Swift is extremely afraid of sea urchins. She told this on The Allen DeGeneres Show. She said, "They're sitting there waiting to completely injure you... If you're in the Caribbean and you're like, 'Oh this water's so beautiful, it's amazing!' Then you step on one."
5.Adele – Fear of Seagulls
Singer Adele is afraid of seagulls. You will find seagulls cute only if you live in a part of the world where there are no seagulls at all! She is afraid of seagulls because she was mauled by one when she was walking down a promenade eating ice cream. The seagull had taken away her ice cream, leaving painful marks of its claws on Adele's body.
6.Oprah Winfrey – Fear of Chewing Gums
Oprah Winfrey has a fear of chewing gums! This might sound strange, but true. Her phobia, dislike and disgust towards chewing gums dates back to her childhood. According to Oprah, her grandmother used to save/store used chewing gums here and there in the house, which Oprah finds gross. "My grandmother used to save it in little rows in the cabinet. I'd be scared to touch it because it was so gross, so I have a thing about gum." She said.
7.Megan Fox – Fear of Dry Paper
Megan Fox is afraid of paper. Yes, just plain dry paper! This is a really, really, weird phobia. She said she absolutely hate to touch dry paper. She also said she makes her fingers wet whenever she has to touch non-laminated papers like news papers, script papers etc. "I'm not afraid of touching paper but I just can't stand it." She said on The Jimmy Fallon Show.

8.P Diddy – Fear of Toes
Sean Combs (P Diddy) once said in an interview that he is afraid of toes. This is indeed a bizarre and weird phobia. P Diddy confessed about his bizarre phobia on The Tonight Show, hosted by Jay Leno. He said, "I have this foot thing... I really fear a long second toe." "I somehow get to see the toe on the first date - it's mandatory. I may not go for a kiss, but I'm definitely going to see if that second toe is long." He added.
9.Matthew McConaughey – Fear of Revolving Doors
Matthew McConaughey has a bizarre phobia. He is afraid of revolving doors you usually see at public places like shopping malls. In an interview, he said, he is too afraid to even stand near them. He is also afraid of driving in tunnels. He said, "I don't like revolving doors, and I really don't like that blindspot when you're driving and go into a tunnel. You know that spot where you can't see for about 10 feet. You can't see what's in front of you or if someone's broken down or something in front of you."

As the name suggests, swinophobia refers to fear of pigs. Pirates of the Caribbean star Orlando Bloom is seriously afraid of pigs. He was so afraid of pigs that once he screamed and ran like a crazy person when a pig got loose on the sets of Kingdom of Heaven. Swinophobia increases anxiety and pushes sufferers into a panic mode by mere sight of a pig.
13.Pamela Anderson – Fear of Mirrors
Unless one is ugly, we don't find any reason why he or she should be afraid of mirrors. Pamela Anderson is yet another celeb with a weird phobia. She is afraid of mirrors and reflections. She doesn't like watching herself in mirror or even on screen. She said, "I don't like mirrors... And I don't watch myself on television. If anything comes on, I make them shut it off, or I leave the room."
