4.Canadians Being Canadians
Sara Renner, a Canadian cross-country skier, broke her ski pole during a ski sprint at the 2006 Turin Olympics. A Norwegian cross-country ski coach named Haakensmoen gave Sara a spare ski, using which she won a silver medal!
After the Olympics, the coach became famous in Canada, and grateful Canadian fans sent him 5.2 tons of maple syrup as a sign of gratitude!
5.Pizza Delivery Woman Saved an Old Woman's Life
An 82-year-old Tennessee woman orders a pizza almost every day from the same local Domino outlet. Some time back, the lady didn't order pizza for three consecutive days. The pizza delivery woman, who has been delivering pizza to the old lady for the past three years, got doubt and went to see her. The door was locked from inside and no one respond. By calling 911, the pizza delivery woman saved the life of the old woman, who had fallen on the floor and couldn't get up to call for help.
6.Netherlands Pay People to Have Sex with Prostitutes
Netherlands is probably the only country in the world that believes sex is a fundamental human need like food and water. The country pays their differently abled citizens to have sex with prostitutes up to 12 times a year.
