The Shining is a gripping story of how one man can be pushed to his limits and goes crazy. Jack Torrance (Jack Nicholson) thought he could find solitude and inspiration for his writing at the Overlook Hotel. But what he got was cabin fever and an itch to kill his family. His wife Wendy and son Danny race to escape from his evil clutches before his fire axe makes them go bye-bye. Thanks to Mother Nature and the frigid temperatures, Torrance freezes to death, while mother and son get away.
